1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Mintfield website and your participation in any workshops or programmes offered by Mintfield ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing our website or registering for a workshop, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, including the Contracts Act 1950 and any other applicable legislation. Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

2. Nature of Services

Mintfield provides financial education workshops and short courses. Our content is intended for general educational purposes only. Nothing communicated in any workshop, session, or material constitutes financial advice, investment advice, legal advice, or any form of regulated advisory service under Malaysian law.

Mintfield does not hold any licence from the Securities Commission Malaysia or Bank Negara Malaysia to provide financial advisory or investment advisory services. Participants should seek qualified licensed professionals for advice specific to their personal financial circumstances.

3. Registration and Enrolment

To participate in a Mintfield workshop, you must submit an enquiry or registration. A binding contract for participation is formed when:

• You complete and submit a registration or enquiry form
• Mintfield confirms your place in writing (by email or otherwise)
• Payment is received in full by the applicable deadline

We reserve the right to decline any registration at our discretion, including in cases where a workshop is fully subscribed.

4. Fees and Payment

Workshop fees are as published on the Mintfield website at the time of registration. All fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of materials unless otherwise specified. Fees do not include any goods and services tax unless explicitly stated.

Payment is due in full prior to the commencement of the relevant workshop. We reserve the right to cancel a confirmed registration where payment has not been received by the specified deadline.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

If you need to cancel your registration, please notify us at [email protected] as soon as possible. The following cancellation terms apply:

• More than 7 days before the session: Full refund less any administrative processing fees
• 3 to 7 days before the session: 50% refund of the workshop fee
• Less than 3 days before the session: No refund, but you may transfer your registration to another available session

Mintfield reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a workshop due to insufficient enrolment, facilitator availability, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In such cases, registered participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to an alternative session.

6. Participant Conduct

Participants are expected to conduct themselves respectfully during workshops. Mintfield reserves the right to remove a participant from a session without refund in the event of disruptive or inappropriate behaviour.

Workshop materials, including handouts, frameworks, and checklists, are provided for the personal use of participants only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or published without prior written consent from Mintfield.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Mintfield website — including text, design, graphics, logos, and workshop materials — remains the intellectual property of Mintfield unless otherwise stated. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use Mintfield's intellectual property without prior written authorisation.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Mintfield shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of our website or your participation in our workshops, including any financial decisions you make based on educational content received.

Our total liability in connection with any claim under these Terms shall not exceed the amount of the workshop fee paid by you for the relevant session.

9. Website Use

You may use the Mintfield website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

• Transmit any unlawful, harmful, or offensive content through our website
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems
• Use any automated means to scrape, crawl, or harvest data from our website

We make reasonable efforts to keep the website available and accurate but do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

10. Privacy

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference. By using our website or registering for a workshop, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

11. Amendments

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our website or services after any amendment constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute or claim arising from these Terms shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia. The parties acknowledge the applicability of the Contracts Act 1950 and any other relevant Malaysian legislation to matters arising under these Terms.
